Meet the Team

Dr. Sanders is a graduate of Colorado State University.  She graduated in May, 2000.  She worked as a large animal Veterinarian in Golden, Colorado for several years and then started her own mobile practice in 2005 out of Brighton, Colorado.  She grew up on a dairy farm and large animals were her passion.  After working in large animals for several years, it took a toll on her body and she decided to follow the small animal side of the world.  She took her large animal knowledge and skills and has applied them in the small animal practice.

Dr. Sanders joined the Army Reserves in October 2010 as a Veterinary Corp Veterinarian.  As such she worked on the Military Working Dogs as well as performed inspections on food and water facilities in the United States as well as over seas.  She served the United States Army until March of 2019 when she resigned her commission with honorable reasons to take care of her husband and family.

Dr. Sanders became a partner at Marietta Animal Hospital in January of 2019 and is excited to provide a well rounded medicine and surgery program here in West Jacksonville, Florida.

Sherri is the Assistant Lead Technician.  She obtained her certification in Veterinary Technician from Jacksonville, Florida.  Her passion is surgery and Huskies!

Arin is a Veterinary Technician that has been with Marietta the longest of all of the technicians.  She is amazing with the big dogs.  She loves animals of all kinds and her passion is cattle!

Anna is currently going to Veterinary Technician school while attending high school.  She works for us part time and is amazing with the animals as well.

Alicia has been with the team for a few months now.  She comes from an extensive background in the animal industry.  She has been working with small animals for many years.  We welcome her knowledge from the training side of the world!  She is currently enrolled in on-line classes for her Veterinary Technician Degree!

Amanda comes to us from a Naval background and is an awesome hard worker.  You may never see Amanda because she works mostly weekends behind the scenes.  She is currently going to school to become a nurse!

Madison is a new member of the Marietta team.  Stop in and say hi as she is walking your animal and bathing them!  She will be the one in the back giving them all the love and attention while you are on vacation!
